Fall is in full swing, and with it comes the opportunity to switch up your space and embrace some seasonal decor.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean going with just the traditional Halloween or Thanksgiving decor. There are ways to make your space feel stylish, cozy, and fall-appropriate without being tied to a holiday.
A recent article realtor.com outlined seasonal decor trends that will not only cozy up your space, but take you straight through to December, including:
- Add some lanterns. Lanterns feel cozy and seasonal without feeling overly autumnal. Plus, the warm light will instantly make your space feel cozier! Try incorporating lanterns of various sizes into your living room.
- DIY botanicals. Fall is a beautiful time for botanicals, and they can make a great addition to your home. Take a walk in a wooded area and collect some branches, dried grasses, flowers, and other botanicals, and then display them in a vase in your home.
- Add deep brown accents. While traditional fall colors like red and orange are lovely, if you prefer a seasonal look that’s more neutral, consider deep brown. While this look definitely feels fall-appropriate, it can also work all year round, which makes this a trend with staying power. Consider a dark brown throw blanket or pillow to add a punch of this versatile neutral without it taking over the room.
