Being about 30 miles from Los Angeles, Malibu is a much quieter, slower pace of life, yet you’re no more than an hour or so from the entertainment venues, nightlife, sports, and award-winning dining and shopping in downtown LA.
If you have children, the local school system is top-notch with those attending the Santa Monica – Malibu Unified School District. Most schools provide a terrific learning environment while preparing them for college life and beyond. Zuma Beach is another popular white sandy beach parallel to a paved path, perfect for jogging, walking your dog, or simply enjoying the ocean. Malibu Pier is another hot spot offering beautiful views of the coast in a perfect spot for fishing or boating.
Dining is also a big activity in Malibu with fantastic restaurants such as Moonshadows, Nobu, and Geoffrey’s. All are located right along the ocean offering stunning views of the water, fabulous local cuisine, and farm-to-table dining.
