Lots in the area were initially divided in the 1920s for modest homes under 1,000 square feet. Modern housing in the area tends to be much larger, with 2 to 3 stories that maximize the size of the lot to achieve  up to 10,000 square feet of living space. This luxury market is best suited for budgets of at least $2.5 million, though a rare property in the $1 million range (usually a small condo) may come on the market from time to time.
